The sun's brilliance is undeniably powerful. In its core, the Sun performs an energy-generating process known as nuclear fusion, where hydrogen gets converted into helium. But just how powerful is it?

But of course, our planet Earth only receives a small fraction of this massive energy. The solar energy that manages to reach our outer atmosphere is roughly 1361 Watts per square meter (W/m^2), also known as the solar constant.
