Where are they located?
I began walking through the front doors of the Crosstown Concourse, and the French Café caught my eye on the right. People were lined up to order some coffee to start their day. The atmosphere was very laid back and casual, with soft jazz music filling the air and the humming of a coffee grinder in the background. The café boasted a variety of seating arrangements, including couches and chairs. Some were placed towards the front, while a more private section was located towards the back hallway. One area seemed perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee with friends, while the other section was better suited for a work or study environment.
What are the drinks?
There are so many drinks to choose from on the menu. Some of the options include standard espresso drinks such as a single or double shot, as well as options like cortado, Americano, and red eye. The drip coffee options include their house blend as well as a rotating selection of single-origin coffees. They also offer pour-overs, where you can choose between several single-origin coffees and have it brewed to order.
If you prefer cold drinks, you can choose from cold brew or nitro cold brew on tap, or try their iced coffee with customization flavors and dairy-free options. If you prefer milk-based coffee drinks, they offer lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos with different milks such as whole milk, oat milk, or almond milk. Out of all the options I decided to go with the Americano coffee. It was simple and I wanted to try the coffee beans that were uniquely French Press. When receiving the hot cup I let it cool off for a bit. After a while I took a sip of the drink and it was fantastic.
Breakfast and Lunch
The breakfast and lunch menu was intriguing with it's assortment of food options. They offer a selection of in-house baked goods like croissants, muffins, scones and a danish. They also have breakfast sandwiches like the Croissant Egg Sandwich, Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich, and the Veggie Breakfast Sandwich. In addition, they have oatmeal and yogurt parfait options for those looking for that lighter option.
For lunch, they offer a selection of sandwiches such as the Turkey Club, Italian Sandwich, and Caprese Sandwich. They serve salads like the Chicken Caesar Salad, Greek Salad, and Power Greens Salad. They also have a soup of the day, and you can combine your choice of sandwich and salads to make it a combo meal. I decided to order the large croissant sandwich. It featured a croissant bun with egg, bacon and cheese. I was surprised to realize a few apple slices came with the meal too. It was a very delicious sandwich. The bun was warm and flaky while the the bacon had a strong crunch to it. The egg was very well cooked too and tasted great.
